The Casa de Cultura project arises from the survey of cultural facilities in the city of São Paulo.
We can observe, along with the concentration of urban infrastructure, a strong presence of these establishments in the central-southeast axis of São Paulo. Meanwhile, in the East Zone of the city, specifically in the Ponte Rasa district, there are practically no cultural development facilities.
The graphic project representation was developed mainly using collages of Wes Anderson's movie characters and colorful, fun architecture sections. This approach was chosen as the building was designed with the premise of hosting cultural activities such as art exhibitions, dance classes, musical presentations, and a library.
